And I'm off to Madrid.
It's been a crazy week -- saying goodbyes, wrapping up work and gearing up for my project next quarter, getting in a few final workouts, packing, etc. etc... but I'm off!
The day had a pleasant start, as I realized an Uber ride to SFO only cost $33 (compared to $50 for a taxi). Not bad! Also, despite my first flight (SFO>JFK) being completely full, I lucked out with two "good" seatmates -- including a fellow Googler from the NYC office in the seat next to me.
I'm typing from the plane right now, and so far it's been a good first flight. Getting a lot of final work things done. We're making good time, with less than an hour left. I'll have a 3.5-hour layover in JFK, so plan on hanging out the SkyClub, before my 7:30pm flight to Madrid.
